About

Well, what can I tell you about myself?...probably lots however I will try and keep it short and relevant!
To see my artistic style I would suggest you browse the gallery section of the web site. You will see that when sketching and painting my preference is more towards the looser expressive style, however for my wildlife and pet portraiture I play safe and keep the paintings realistic....I have found through experience that pet owners want their pets to look real!
In terms of my tutoring style, you might be keen to know what type of tutor I am, particularly if you are thinking of joining me on one of my courses. However rather than "blow my own trumpet", maybe it's better if you hear what others say about teaching style and approach and I would suggest you have a look at the Testimonials section!
Hopefully these will help you decide if I am the type of tutor who will support your progress on your own artistic journey and have a bit of fun in the process. All I would say is that I passionately believe we can all paint and draw (perhaps not everyone to Da Vinci level!). I combine my artistic skills and professional coaching background to help participants develop their art at a pace that meets their own individual needs (not the needs of the tutor!).
I would add however that I have considerable experience both in running my own art courses and delivering overseas art courses for Skyros Holidays and Flavours Holidays.
This involves giving art tuition to participants of all ages and abilities from across the globe and enhancing their overall holiday experience.
I also work from my own studio where work-in-progress and completed paintings can be viewed by arrangement.
Commissions on landscapes/seascapes and animal portraits are welcomed.
Contact me by email or telephone to discuss commissions.
